Our vote page shows our category, location and a description of our service. There is no judging panel. Past clients, peers and fans vote for their favorites. In previous years fans could vote more than once. This year they have limited it to one vote per email address for the duration of the month long voting period.
The voting process is simple.
Fans can cast one vote per email address at anytime during the voting period. They can log into the new awards system via a simple sign-up form, or with ease via their twitter, facebook or linkedin accounts. The number of votes will not be shown on the awards site – just the rank from most votes to least (once voting commences).
Saundra Hadley from Planning Forever Events sums it up best when she says: “There is nothing more honorable and exciting to win an award for your business. It validates your efforts, your relationship with others and frankly, it’s the cherry on top for your hard work. It’s comforting to know that people, besides your Mother, think you are special.”
Today we saw Katherine marry at the exquisite Nuthurst Grange Hotel, Solihull.
Katherine’s bridesmaids wore bespoke made sage green tea length fitted gowns to ensure not just the vintage look but also very English countryside one! The bride of course stole the show and her mans heart wearing a beautiful fitted lace fishtail gown.
Vintage is definitely in this year and Katherine was a bride who put her own twist on things with her theme and chosen colours which complemented the bridal parties skin tones & facial features.
Classic hairstyles but individual hairtsyles with modern twists ensured that Katherine & her bridal party had a completely bespoke style. Bridesmaids had russian rolls with crystal pins to compliment, as well as swept curls loosely pinned at the nape of the neck on the side to a blow dry for am inverted bob. These hairstyles teamed with flawless skin and smokey smoldering eyes these ladies looked fantastic and drew many admiring glances.
The bride however stole everyone’s heart, her hair was volumised and pinned with a barrel & pins curls encased within a pleat creating a truly bespoke hairstyle. We ensured this was set of with glowing, radiant skin along with a touch of bronzer and our favourite smokey smoldering eyes with a fantastic set of our full semi permanent eyelashes in short & medium length
This beautiful card was received today from Mr & Mrs Collins! This beautiful bride married early in 2013 at The Windmill Village Hotel in Coventry, I had the great privilege of doing the bridal parties hair & make up. Gem made a truly stunning vintage bride in her lace mermaid dress (Please click the link above to view)
We had great fun on a themed photo shoot for model Jodie Withers. Jodie became a bride for the day and wore a stunning Mori Lee Gown. We roved the Staffordshire countryside to find Alvecote Priory to have these photographs done, after all every girl loves dressing up!
Kelly Hutchings nee Wilkes made the true vintage bride in her lace mermaid Ronald Joyce gown today for her marriage to Matt at Hawkesyard Estate in Staffordshire.
Setting off the vintage theme were Kelly’s bridesmaids who wore beautiful tea length Jenny Packham gowns in duck egg. To ensure the bridal party continued the theme correctly throughout they chose artificial roses for their hair accessories which set the chosen hair styles off perfectly.
Make up was flawless & natural with a dewy finish with full effect on the eyes for the bridesmaids with a touch of green and brown to edge the smoldering eyes. Each of their hairs were swept to the side in curls and pinned loosely creating a romantic swept look. The brides make up was a flawless yet dewy, glowing finish with a twist of smoldering brown eyes and highlighted cheekbones to ensure gasps of admiration as she entered the room, her hair was swept romantically from her face with a little volume from the crown and gathered loosely and pinned at the nape of the neck with curls to create a relaxed but romantic hairstyle. Kelly’s veil was tucked neatly under the crowns volume ensuring she had effectively two looks in one when removing her veil for the full effect of the hairstyle.
